Compared to most, Bruce was 'late to the game' as a player. "You need a career first!", his Mom would proclaim. So he put his rock and roll dreams on the backburner to focus on his studies. While he dabbled here and there for many years with various casual groups, serious playing became a reality via a music program at one of the local music stores several (like, SEVERAL) years ago.
While playing locally for cover bands including The Rural Philosophers, Belmont Street, The Silver Hammers, Jenny & the Bets, The Todd James Band, The Suicide Kings, Dirty Deeds DDC, and Persons of Interest, Bruce developed a strong work ethic and attention to detail. If you ask him to learn a song, he LEARNS THE SONG!
Who were you influenced by?
There are far too many names to mention, but his drumming influences come from many different genres, including rock, funk, prog, R&B, and even reggae!!
Little known fact about you?
I've never had a donair in my life.
My advice to the world?
Get busy living! The alternative isn't nearly as fun.
