Welcome to The Stevie Project!
WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING a LEAD GUITARIST + FEMALE BG VOCALIST(S)
The Stevie Project is an established band of seasoned professional musicians with a polished live show. Our most recent January 2026 performance at Festival Place had 350 guests, and we are on track for more similar ticketed and special-event gigs ahead. We are estimating 6-8 theatre shows a year. We are excited about what 2026-2027 will bring!
Are you our next guitar player??
(Seeking versatile guitarist w Lead vocals and/or harmonies preferred – female guitarists welcome!)
- You'll own 30 tunes of Stevie's material (we are not a Fleetwood Mac tribute). Repertoire covers 60 yrs of Stevie's music - 1960's to today!
- You'll be expected to slay all guitar parts blending the best of Lindsey Buckingham influences and Waddy Wachtel!
- Must have strong stage presence, but low ego, and pro dress required — this is a featured role!
- You’ll be joining a well-seasoned core lineup (bass, drums, keys/vocals, and our Stevie!), with a strong foundation already in place — we just need you!
Female Background Vocalist!
We are also seeking one or two female background vocalists with strong harmony skills and musical sensitivity.
This role is ideal if:
- You have a great musical ear, excellent pitch, blend, and harmony control, and can slay the bg vocals in any Stevie Nicks song
- You get that supporting vocals are a featured and essential part of Stevie’s music
- You are confident on stage, and comfortable in a professional, collaborative musical setting
- You love being a background vocalist and contributing to a cohesive vocal sound!
Rehearsals & Professional Expectations
- Rehearsals take place in a professional rehearsal space in Edmonton
- Once repertoire is learned, rehearsals are typically once per month
- Rehearsals are organized, efficient, and guided by clear musical direction
- All members use in-ear monitors (IEMs) for rehearsals and live shows
- Professional-quality gear and reliable transportation required
- Prepared, dependable, collaborative, respectful band culture (no drama)
